Binational Vision Project: Project Team
Original 2005 Binational Watershed Advisory Committee (BWAC)
From 2002 until 2005, the Binational Watershed Advisory Committee (BWAC) provided guidance for the Binational Vision for the Tijuana River Watershed. The duties of the BWAC members included:
- Attend quarterly meetings
- Help develop the Vision Documents
- Review and add to the website and its databases
- Help identify stakeholders
- Facilitate outreach to stakeholders
- Network with decision makers
- Represent the Binational Tijuana River Watershed Advisory Council

Research Team
The Binational Vision for the Tijuana River Watershed working team consisted of researchers from San Diego State University, El Colegio de la Frontera Norte, and the Autonomous University of Baja California. The team drafted documents, facilitated stakeholder involvement, and coordinated meetings and events, among other duties. As a result, the team produced a Binational Vision document that reflected stakeholders’ views of the desired state of the watershed for the near and distant future.
