The Tijuana River Watershed Digital Temperature Stations file was created as part of the Tijuana River Watershed GIS database project. The locations of the stations were obtained from latitude and longitude coordinates provided by the USGS and INEGI.
Purpose:
The Tijuana River Watershed GIS Database project provides a fully integrated cross border geographic information system. One of the layers in the dataset is a digital temperature station file. The station file is to be joined with a separate temperature data table if any querying or analysis is to be conducted.

The file was used as input in the ArcInfo GENERATE command and an ArcInfo point coverage was the output. The output coverage was then reprojected from geographic coordinates into UTM, NAD83, Meters to match the Tijuana River Watershed standard database projection.
